Mid-Century Modern Home Remodel, Sonoma County

This Mid-Century Modern, seven-bedroom home had been neglected for many years inviting dry rot and substantial wear and tear that had not been addressed.  Sitting on ten acres above the town of Sonoma, it had stunning views of Mt. Diablo to the east and a natural spring fed lake in the backyard. The goal was to stabilize the structure, correcting and preventing further damage, then update and customize the interior and exterior keeping the authenticity of the Mid-Century style.

SOLUTION

Stately Construction worked to restore the structural integrity of the home by repairing major infrastructure of floors, walls, exterior decks, and foundation. We could then address the aesthetic updates to the kitchen, great room, master bedroom, bathrooms and decks reflecting the homeowner’s vision. We collaborated with the client to select beautiful materials and finishes that resonated with the architectural styling of this modern Mid-Century gem.
